Bored of red, white and rose wine? A new variety is set to hit USA shops in the near future – blue wine. The drink is made using different varieties of red and white grapes from around Spain. Non-caloric sweeteners are then used to modify the flavor and create a sweet drink with 11.5 per cent alcohol per volume. A brand new blue wine selection that is made with Chardonnay grapes is coming soon to the American market. It is made of grapes, macerated with extracts of grape skin, obtaining pleasant aromas of cherry, raspberry and passion fruit, giving a fresh and fruity taste.
